This week we are moving the #MindfulSocial  Twitter chat to the Blabosphere. Tune in Tuesday at 10 AM Pacific, 1 PM Eastern to chat with us about how mindfulness can impact your social media usage in a positive way.

I don’t know about you, but I’m quite enamored with the Blab platform. Not just because it’s live-streaming video, but because it allows people to drop in and out of the conversation making it richer and giving everyone a voice in the conversation. Twitter chats are great, and I still love them, but for a deeper conversation longer than 140 characters? Blab wins!

Our guest on #MindfulSocial chat is GRAMMY & TONY-nominated composer & lyricist, Simon Gideon. Simon is an avid horseman and clinician and he’s been a recent guest and frequent contributor on our Twitter chats. He’s also an avid Blab user on several topics, including mindfulness.

How does this work?
If you’ve never used Blab before, don’t worry. It’s a super easy platform with a minimal barrier to entry, and here’s a basic primer I blogged about recently to learn all about Blab.  You can simply tune in to watch, and if so moved chat in the chat alongside the video. If you want to join in by video you can do that too, we’ll open up the available seats for Q&A during the chat to make it as interactive as possible. I will be recording the chat for later as well and you’ll be able to see it on Blab, YouTube and my podcast. (links to be added after the broadcast)

All you need to do to join us is subscribe to the show. Blab will send you a notification, or you can just show up at 10 AM Pacific here to join in.  If you’ve got questions or would rather join in  on Twitter go for it, I’ll do my best to follow the hashtag #MindfulSocial there too.
