I’m excited to bring Ritu Sharma to the weekly #Mindfulsocial chat.
Ritu is the CEO and Co-Founder of Social Media for Nonprofits, an organization committed to bringing social media education to nonprofits worldwide. She convenes thought-leaders and leading practitioners in the social media space in the unique TED meet Twitter style conferences in 14 cities in three countries. She speaks frequently around the world on a variety of topics in the nonprofit and social media spheres with a passion for effecting social change through social technologies.
She writes a blog at the Huffington Post on the intersection of social media, social change and leadership, and frequently contributes to various media outlets on matters pertaining to social media and has received several accolades for her work including the Social Innovation Award from the World CSR Congress.
Ritu is also a spectacular cook and practices mindfulness in her life and day to day work. Join us to talk about bringing mindfulness into the workplace and how we as marketers can bring the concepts of mindfulness into our work lives as well as at home.
How does this work?
A Twitter chat is an open forum. I will ask questions around incorporating mindfulness practices into our work as marketers and how that affects and informs our work and relationships. Any and all are welcome to join in and answer in your own way. Your voice is as important as ours here. Be sure to tag everything with the hashtag #MindfulSocial so everyone sees your responses in the chat.
Never participated in a Tweet chat?
No problem. All you need to do is follow #MindfulSocial @RituSharma1 and me @Jfouts. Then show up at 10AM Pacific time on Twitter and follow the hashtag to watch live or tweet with us. Learn more with my easy-peasy guide to Twitter chats. A re-cap will be posted on this page with Storify afterwards.
Help spread the word!
You can help make this a great chat by sharing it with others who are interested in mindfulness, social media and marketing. Tweet this out and tell your friends.
Did you miss the chat? No worries, here’s the re-cap!
