The educational system in the United States addresses the necessary curriculum to pass tests and scholastic ability. The competition and rigorous testing environment can add a lot of stress for teachers, children and parents alike. Test anxiety is a very real problem in schools and at home and has long term effects on young adults. Teaching parents, teachers and students the elements of mindfulness can reduce that stress, help them stay grounded, increase attention and focus and leave room for a compassionate heart.
This week’s guest is Susan Kaiser Greenland.
